About the Role
Design and lead large hotel and food & beverage (F&B) projects, overseeing all aspects of the design process.
Collaborate with the Associate Director to identify necessary resources and plan projects according to the agreed-upon schedule.
Work together with assigned FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Designers, if applicable, to develop designs and agree on deliverables.
Monitor project time allocation to ensure designers complete their tasks within the allocated hours.
Prepare presentations according to the defined scope of work, including perspective renderings.
Conduct client presentations and prepare meeting minutes as necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project correspondence on behalf of LW.
Consider project budgets and review comments throughout the project duration.
Coordinate with other consultants involved in the project in collaboration with the Studio.
Requirements
As the Senior Designer representing the studio, your role is pivotal in designing and leading larger hotel and F&B projects, ensuring luxury standards are met, and contributing to advancing designs to an international level. Leading the design process entails ensuring deadlines and deliverables align with the agreed program and promptly addressing variances. Additionally, you are expected to contribute to the social environment, fostering an inspirational atmosphere within the team.
- Collaborate with the Director and Technical Design Manager to identify necessary resources and plan projects effectively.
- Ensure that drafting and documentation meet studio standards by providing all required details and information.
- Work with the Associate, Studio, and Detail Designer to develop designs and deliverables as needed.
- Review issued drawings and address any coordination or clarity issues in collaboration with the Associate and Studio.
- Ensure that a complete drawing and specification package, including Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), is issued with the Studio.
- Respond to all tender inquiries during client and operator reviews, as well as throughout the tender period, in coordination with the Studio.
- Be proficient in SketchUp and all relevant industry software, including InDesign and Photoshop.
