About the Role
Requirements
Primary Duties:
Manage interior design aspects, including evaluating Contractors’ material choices, detailing, integration into the broader context, and the quality of on-site construction and installations.
Quickly grasp client goals and project needs to inform design decisions.
Confidently assess contractor submissions of samples, mock-ups, and design and shop drawings to ensure they meet project standards and requirements.
Collaborate with other discipline reviewers to align interior designs with architecture, engineering, and technical elements.
Address and resolve feedback on Contractors’ designs, ensuring all comments are appropriately handled.
Communicate with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
Ensure designs adhere to relevant international and local design codes.
Verify that Contractors’ designs fulfill all project requirements and manage any proposed deviations through the correct technical and commercial channels.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of demonstrated experience in complex transport projects.
Direct experience in managing interior design, material selection, detailing, and construction within transport projects.
Strong understanding of international and local design codes and standards.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of project requirements
Ability to promptly and efficiently resolve design issues.
High accuracy and attention to detail in reviewing and approving design submissions.
